The Classroom

The Classroom

The project at Brookland Primary School in Blackheath aimed to create a dynamic and engaging classroom space, specifically designed for physical activities and arts and crafts. Located adjacent to the playground, the classroom was strategically constructed with interactive blockwork, allowing for various ball sports during playtime. In response to the school's design project feedback, which emphasized the incorporation of color and interactive elements, vibrant cladding was applied to each side elevation. The selection of primary and bold colors not only promotes an uplifting atmosphere within the classroom but also complements the original 1950s school building, seamlessly blending the new addition with the existing architectural style.
